Du2LAB Showcases at Dubai Derma 2026, Advancing Its Middle East Market Expansion

Du2LAB, the cosmetics brand of Nexbell Biotech, took part in Dubai Derma 2026 — one of the world's three leading dermatology and laser conferences and exhibitions — held September 8–10 in Dubai, UAE. Over the three-day event, Du2LAB met with buyers from roughly 20 countries across the Middle East, Central Asia, and South Asia, laying the groundwork for expanded regional distribution. Now in its 25th year, Dubai Derma was held at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC). Du2LAB's cosmetics division team engaged with distributors, clinics, and pharmacy partners from a wide range of markets, including Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Azerbaijan, India, and Kyrgyzstan. Standing Out with a "Post-Procedure Home Care" Positioning Dubai Derma is widely known as a procedure-focused show, centered on skin boosters, fillers, and related treatments. Du2LAB adapted its approach accordingly, positioning its lineup as an ideal "post-procedure home care and aftercare" solution — a message that resonated strongly with clinics and aesthetic distributors. Notably, a physician operating a clinic in Dubai purchased Du2LAB creams, eye creams, and toner pads directly on-site, marking the exhibition's first confirmed sale and reflecting real confidence in the product. 80% of On-Site Inventory Sold by the Final Day On the final day, interest extended beyond B2B buyers to general visitors, with roughly 80% of the products brought to the show selling out. "This wasn't just positive feedback from potential business partners — we saw firsthand that the products resonate with everyday consumers as well," a company representative noted. Exclusive Supply Discussions and Follow-Up Meetings Secured During the exhibition, Du2LAB entered discussions on an exclusive supply arrangement with a distributor covering Central and South Asian markets. Several other international buyers also scheduled follow-up video calls to continue negotiations after the show, signaling strong momentum toward formal partnerships. Buyers responded especially well to the brand's light, fast-absorbing textures, its signature frankincense oil ingredient story, and the narrative that the line was developed in collaboration with dermatology professionals. Dubai Confirmed as a Regional Distribution Hub The exhibition reaffirmed Dubai's role as a distribution hub connecting the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region with Central Asia, South Asia, and North Africa. Building on this momentum, Nexbell Biotech plans to sharpen its Middle East market strategy around clinic, pharmacy, and aesthetics channels, and will continue to participate in relevant international exhibitions going forward. "Dubai Derma confirmed the strong potential for Du2LAB in the Middle East," said a Nexbell Biotech representative. "We're moving quickly with our local partners to turn this momentum into concrete export results."

[Interview] Park Joong-woo, Executive Director at Nexbell Biotech: The Era of Skin Boosters Is Here

Nexbel Biotech Challenges Korea's First Non-Crosslinked HA Medical Device...Aiming for Commercialization by 2028 Launched the cosmetic brand 'Amethea' in April 2026.Recruited overseas sales expert Executive Director Hye-jung Kwon, exporting cosmetics to 10 countries.   "We have moved beyond the era of filling facial volume to an era of improving skin health and skin condition itself." Market Economy met Jung-woo Park, Managing Director at Nexbel Biotech, who expressed confidence in developing Korea's first non-crosslinked Hyaluronic Acid (HA) skin booster. We discussed the evolving skin booster market, the company's technological edge, and its future business strategies. The center of gravity in the aesthetic medical device market is rapidly shifting from dermal fillers to skin boosters. While filler procedures for volume enhancement were mainstream in the past, demand for skin boosters—which improve intrinsic skin health such as texture, tone, elasticity, and radiance—has grown significantly. Amid these market dynamics, Nexbel Biotech has recently raised industry interest by challenging the development of Korea's first non-crosslinked HA skin booster medical device. Leveraging over 20 years of field experience in distributing medical devices such as fillers and skin boosters, Nexbel Biotech has engaged in R&D and is currently conducting clinical trials for its medical device.   Q: Could you introduce Nexbel Biotech? A: "Nexbel Biotech is a biotechnology company that researches, develops, and manufactures medical devices in the aesthetic dermatology field. We operate manufacturing facilities in Cheongju, Chungcheongbuk-do, handling everything directly from R&D to manufacturing and sales. We have secured ISO 13485 (Medical Devices Quality Management System) and ISO 22716 (Cosmetics GMP) certifications. Above all, our competitive edge lies in the hands-on experience and market insights gained over 20 years of distributing fillers and skin boosters. Knowing firsthand what medical professionals actually need in the field significantly empowers our current R&D efforts."   Q: Why are skin boosters attracting so much attention recently? A: "In the past, filler procedures designed to add facial volume for a youthful look were dominant. Post-pandemic, however, consumers seeking natural beauty have increased drastically. Demand is shifting from simply 'filling' the face to improving core skin conditions—such as skin texture, tone, elasticity, and radiance. From a practitioner’s perspective, skin boosters are preferred due to shorter procedure times and relatively quick recovery. In fact, while the global filler market grows at an average annual rate of around 8%, the skin booster market is projected to maintain double-digit annual growth."   Q: How do skin boosters differ from general cosmetics? A: "Many consumers consider cosmetics and skin boosters to be similar, but they are fundamentally different. Cosmetics are topical products applied to the surface of the skin. Skin boosters, on the other hand, are sterilized medical devices delivered directly into the dermal layer to improve the skin's microenvironment. Designed to act directly within the skin, their manufacturing process and quality control standards are incomparably more rigorous."   Q: What are the key features of the product currently under development? A: "We are developing 'Aeshilo,' a non-crosslinked HA skin booster utilizing our proprietary AHCT (AI HA Compound Technology). While conventional products mostly use crosslinking agents, our product features a non-crosslinked formulation. By combining high-molecular-weight and low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid, it is engineered to simultaneously deliver hydration and skin condition improvement. Notably, being the first in Korea to undertake clinical trials for a non-crosslinked HA skin booster medical device holds great significance for us."   Q: Why do you place so much emphasis on conducting clinical trials? A: "Because objective data matters far more than flashy marketing. Although the skin booster market has expanded rapidly, few products have thoroughly validated their safety and efficacy through clinical data. Successfully completing our ongoing clinical trials will allow us to establish a new benchmark in Korea's non-crosslinked HA skin booster sector."   Q: What is the timeline for commercialization? A: "We are currently conducting clinical trials. Our goal is to complete the clinical trials in the second half of next year, go through the regulatory approval process, and achieve commercialization by the first quarter of 2028."   Q: We understand that you are pursuing a cosmetics business ahead of the medical device launch. A: "Alongside our medical device clinical trials, we are rolling out our cosmetic brand 'Amethea.' We began sales in April this year and received very positive responses from international buyers at trade shows such as Beauty Eurasia in Istanbul and CosmoBeauty Seoul. We are currently exporting to around 10 countries and plan to introduce a wider product lineup sequentially."   Q: How are you preparing for international markets? A: "Global interest in K-Beauty and K-Medical continues to rise. Because there is no dominant global player in the skin booster market yet, we see significant opportunities. We recently brought on Executive Director Hye-jung Kwon, an overseas sales specialist, to expand our global network, actively focusing on the Middle East and Southeast Asia. Our strategy is to pioneer markets with cosmetics first and later expand with our medical devices."   Q: How do you foresee the future of the aesthetic medical market? A: "The filler market will not disappear, but the main center of gravity is undeniably shifting toward skin boosters. Major global filler manufacturers and pharmaceutical firms are rushing into skin booster development. Moving forward, aesthetic procedures that maintain healthy skin will expand much faster than procedures that drastically alter facial features."   Q: Do you have any final remarks? A: "Since the initial development stage, Nexbel Biotech has operated on the principle of 'creating products backed by data.' Technology can only earn market trust through objective validation. Our goal is to successfully complete the ongoing non-crosslinked HA skin booster clinical trials, enhance the competitiveness of Korea's medical aesthetic industry, and grow into a globally trusted K-Medical brand."

As the Boundaries Between Beauty and Medical Aesthetics Continue to Blur: The Potential of Du2LAB Discovered at Cosmobe...

As the Boundaries Between Beauty and Medical Aesthetics Continue to Blur: The Potential of Du2LAB Discovered at Cosmobeauty Seoul 2026 After covering global beauty exhibitions for the past three years, one trend has become increasingly clear: "The line between beauty brands and medical brands is disappearing." While the beauty industry was once driven primarily by packaging, branding, and emotional appeal, today's global market is paying closer attention to brands backed by clinical credibility, scientific research, and technologies developed through dermatology, plastic surgery, and medical aesthetics. Cosmobeauty Seoul 2026, held this past May at COEX in Seoul, provided a clear reflection of this shift. Although ingredients such as PDRN, exosomes, peptides, and collagen continued to dominate industry conversations, overseas buyers were focusing on something deeper. Their primary interest was no longer the ingredient itself, but rather the technology behind it—the research, development, and manufacturing capabilities that support product performance. This signals a broader transformation of the global beauty market: a shift from an ingredient-driven industry to a technology-driven one. From this perspective, one of the most impressive brands observed during the exhibition was Du2LAB.   Du2LAB's strength extends beyond conventional skincare branding. Its greatest asset lies in the medical aesthetic technologies supporting the brand. Its parent company, Nexvel Biotech, has continuously invested in research and development within the fields of hyaluronic acid-based skin boosters and dermal fillers. At Cosmobeauty Seoul 2026, the company showcased a diverse portfolio of aesthetic solutions, including the Dual HA Skin Booster, Roseeplla Filler, and Amethea Skin Booster series. Among them, the Dual HA technology deserves particular attention. By combining high- and low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid, the technology aligns perfectly with the growing global focus on "Skin Quality. " While the filler market once centered primarily on volume enhancement, demand has increasingly shifted toward improving overall skin condition, including texture, elasticity, radiance, and long-term hydration. Buyers from Europe and the Middle East have shown particularly strong interest in the rapidly expanding skin booster category, a trend that was clearly evident throughout Cosmobeauty Seoul 2026. What makes Du2LAB even more noteworthy is its ability to translate medical aesthetic expertise into consumer-focused cosmeceutical products.   Today's global consumers are influenced less by the message that an ingredient is included and more by how that ingredient is delivered and supported by technology. Leveraging years of experience in hyaluronic acid research, Du2LAB has developed proprietary platforms such as Dual HA Delivery, Lacto-Exosome, and GHK-Cu Peptide Complex, creating a brand story that is difficult for conventional skincare companies to replicate. This represents a competitive advantage rooted in technology rather than marketing. Global demand for technology-driven cosmeceutical brands continues to rise, particularly across the United States, Japan, and the Middle East, where consumers increasingly seek products supported by medical expertise and clinical credibility. Against this backdrop, Du2LAB appears well-positioned to benefit from these evolving market dynamics.   Cosmobeauty Seoul 2026 demonstrated that K-Beauty is entering another stage of evolution. The industry is now evaluating brands based on technology and R&D capabilities rather than marketing claims alone. At the center of this transformation are brands capable of bridging the worlds of medical aesthetics and cosmeceuticals. Among the many exhibitors present, Du2LAB stood out for precisely this reason. A brand that begins with technology and transforms it into meaningful products. As the global cosmeceutical market continues to evolve, Du2LAB is undoubtedly a name worth watching.

[Du2LAB] Emerges as a Standout Brand at Cosmobeauty Seoul 2026

In the Era of Choosing Technology Over Ingredients, Du2LAB Emerges as a Standout Brand at Cosmobeauty Seoul 2026 Technology has become the true competitive edge in beauty. Held at COEX in Seoul from May 27 to 29, Cosmobeauty Seoul 2026 was more than just a beauty exhibition — it served as a key platform to observe the present and future of the K-beauty industry. With major Korean and international beauty brands, ingredient suppliers, manufacturers, and global buyers participating, the event once again demonstrated the strong worldwide demand for K-beauty. One of the most notable shifts this year was that both consumers and buyers are no longer responding only to trendy ingredients or marketing buzzwords. While ingredients such as PDRN, exosomes, and peptides remained popular, conversations on the exhibition floor increasingly focused on how ingredients are delivered to the skin and what scientific and technological foundation supports the product. In other words, the market is moving from an ingredient-driven competition to a technology-driven competition. Amid this shift, one brand that stood out prominently to this reporter was Du2LAB.     While many brands highlighted trendy ingredients, Du2LAB differentiated itself by emphasizing its delivery platform technologies rather than ingredients alone. The brand introduced three proprietary technologies: Dual HA Delivery, Lacto-Exosome, and GHK-Cu Peptide Complex. What made Du2LAB particularly compelling was that these technologies were not presented as mere cosmetic concepts. The company’s technological foundation stems from its experience in manufacturing hyaluronic acid fillers and skin boosters used in medical clinics. This aligns closely with the core values currently driving the global cosmeceutical market: scientific credibility and tangible efficacy. Overseas buyers responded strongly to this positioning. Throughout the exhibition, buyers from key Asian markets including Kazakhstan and Japan visited the Du2LAB booth for in-depth consultations regarding its technologies and product lineup. In fast-growing cosmeceutical markets, interest was especially high in the brand’s scientific background and validation process — areas where Du2LAB provided clear and convincing answers.     Another important takeaway from this year’s exhibition is that the standards for K-beauty are rising rapidly. In the past, attractive packaging and competitive pricing were often enough to succeed globally. Today, however, brands are evaluated comprehensively on patented technologies, research data, ingredient differentiation, and manufacturing expertise. From that perspective, Du2LAB feels less like a conventional skincare brand and more like a technology-based cosmeceutical company. While its mainstream consumer recognition may still trail some mega-brands, its growth potential appears especially strong when viewed through the lens of global buyers and industry professionals. Cosmobeauty Seoul 2026 clearly showed that K-beauty is entering another phase of evolution. And at the center of that transformation are brands that are not merely selling products, but building new markets through science, technology, and research. Among them, Du2LAB is undoubtedly a name worth watching in the global cosmeceutical market.

[Du2LAB] Demonstrates Global Market Potential at BEAUTYISTANBUL 2026

Du2LAB Demonstrates Global Market Potential at BEAUTYISTANBUL 2026 K-Beauty Brand Captivates International Buyers with a Strong Combination of Technology, Sensory Appeal, and Premium Branding South Korean cosmeceutical brand Du2LAB successfully demonstrated its growing competitiveness in the global beauty market through its participation in BEAUTYISTANBUL 2026, held in Istanbul, Türkiye. Recognized as one of the key beauty exhibitions connecting Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, BEAUTYISTANBUL attracts beauty brands, distributors, and buyers from around the world each year. Amid the continued global rise of K-beauty, overseas buyers are increasingly focusing on Korean brands that successfully combine functional skincare innovation with sophisticated brand identity and emotional appeal. At this year’s exhibition, Du2LAB introduced its product portfolio centered around the brand’s signature frankincense-inspired fragrance, proprietary 3-Step patented technology, and premium package design. During the event, the company held active business meetings with more than 50 global buyers from over 25 countries, including Türkiye, Iraq, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Romania, Moldova, Malaysia, and the United Kingdom. One of the most notable achievements was the complete sell-out of showcased products within just two days of the exhibition. Industry observers viewed this not merely as strong exhibition traffic, but as clear evidence of immediate purchasing demand and strong market responsiveness toward the brand. Du2LAB’s sophisticated brand identity and differentiated product experience received particularly positive feedback from international buyers. Its frankincense-based signature scent drew significant attention from buyers in the Middle East and Europe, with many evaluating the products as offering a “premium beauty experience” that extends beyond skincare functionality to emotional and sensorial satisfaction. The company’s proprietary 3-Step patented technology also attracted considerable attention from industry professionals and overseas distributors. Designed to enhance ingredient absorption and optimize active ingredient delivery, the technology aligns closely with the rapidly growing global demand for high-performance functional skincare solutions. Industry analysts note that the global beauty market is increasingly shifting beyond basic moisturizing and brightening products toward advanced skincare solutions focused on skin condition improvement and ingredient delivery efficiency. In addition, Du2LAB’s premium package design was regarded as another key factor strengthening the brand’s competitiveness. Industry experts point out that today’s global consumers increasingly evaluate not only product efficacy, but also brand storytelling, design sophistication, and overall user experience—areas where Du2LAB appears to have established a strong competitive advantage. Several international buyers reportedly expressed strong interest in securing exclusive distribution partnerships during the exhibition. This level of interest is being interpreted as more than simple export inquiries, reflecting growing confidence in the brand’s long-term market scalability and business potential. A beauty industry official commented, “As product functionality alone is no longer enough to differentiate brands in the global market, companies that successfully integrate technology, emotional branding, and design competitiveness are gaining greater attention. Du2LAB represents a compelling example of a K-cosmetic brand that has effectively balanced functional innovation with a premium brand image.” A representative from Du2LAB stated, “Through BEAUTYISTANBUL 2026, we were able to directly confirm the global potential of our brand and the strong market response from international buyers. Moving forward, we plan to continue expanding the global competitiveness of K-beauty through ongoing R&D and differentiated branding strategies.” Meanwhile, the global cosmeceutical market continues to experience steady growth alongside increasing consumer demand for wellness-oriented skincare and premium beauty experiences. Industry experts expect Korean companies that successfully strengthen both technological innovation and brand experience to further expand their presence in overseas markets.
